Installation steps
1.Ball mill preparation: Any brick or cement residue, welding slag, rust, and oil stains on the inner surface of the ball mill should be cleaned, and the smooth surface should be roughened to improve the bonding effect.
2. The installation of lining bricks starts from the end face of the ball mill. The end faces are all installed with straight bricks and straight half bricks. The working surface of all lining bricks should face into the ball mill. On the joints of the two bricks below, the upper and lower rows of bricks must be installed with staggered joints. Every time a few lining bricks are installed, lightly tap with a rubber hammer or mallet, so that the adhesive is evenly spread between bricks and bricks, between bricks and the wall, to ensure the quality of bonding, and strictly control the gap between bricks The gap should be less than 1.5mm.
3. After installing the two ends, start to install the shell, calculate the number of rows of straight bricks and oblique bricks according to the amount of lining bricks in the cylinder, and install them alternately in proportion to the number of straight and oblique rows calculated in the second step, so as to ensure that the bottom of the lining bricks is tight Attached to the inner wall of the cylinder, the inner diameter of the lining bricks after laying should be smoothly connected, and each row along the length direction should use straight bricks or inclined bricks of the same specification. The joints of the two rows of bricks are staggered, and if the straight bricks cannot enter the last row, install thinner bricks and seal the gaps with cement.
