Process of Making Ball Mill Lining Brick
After the ore containing alumina is mined, it will be roughed into industrial alumina (γ-AL2O3), at this time the alumina content is about 65%, and then deeply processed into aluminum oxide powder (α-AL2O3), the alumina content will reach 99.5%, which can be used as raw materials of fine ceramics by various ceramic enterprises.
After the aluminum oxide powder enters the factory, it is generally made first to ensure that the fineness of the aluminum oxide powder meets the production demand. A small amount of binder, coarser particles and fine powder are matched to become billet, which is placed in the metal model and formed under pressure on the press.
The wear-resistant aluminum oxide lining brick after forming is put into the kiln car and sent to the high-temperature tunnel kiln. After high temperature calcination at about 1700℃, the finished lining brick is completed. After that, the worker will screen, polish and then pack.
