Description
Alumina filler balls, also called inert alumina ceramic balls, "inert" means that its chemical reaction is weak and will not play a catalytic role. In these industries, they are used as covering support materials and tower packings for catalysts in reactors.

Taking 99% φ20mm alumina packing balls as an example, its compressive strength is about 13KN/piece, its water absorption rate is less than 5%, its bulk density is ≥1900kg/m³, and its resistance to sudden temperature changes is greater than 850°C. It has advantages of acid and alkali corrosion resistance, and also can be used as a material for filling the bottom, very popular among users.

Inert ceramic balls are used as the supporting and covering material of the catalyst in the reactor, which can buffer the impact of the steam and liquid entering the reactor on the catalyst, protect the catalyst, and improve the distribution of liquid and gas in the reactor.
