Hexagonal Alumina Tiles is a ceramic lining tiles that made of alumina sintered at high temperature 1650 degree. It has a hexagonal shape and is used in equipment lining and protection applications that require harsh environments such as high temperature, corrosion, and abrasion. The hexagonal tiles is usually pasted into a big sheet by scotch tape, grid cloth or acetate cloth.
Feature
1. High hardness, wear resistance and erosion resistance: Rockwell hardness is HRA85-95, which is comparable to diamond, and its wear resistance is much higher than that of manganese steel and high-soldering cast iron. Hexagonal Alumina Tiles can extend the service life of equipment by 10 years under the same working conditions more than double;
2. Excellent high temperature resistance and heat resistance: it can operate at 750°C for a long time;
3. Acid and alkali corrosion resistance: Alumina and zirconia wear-resistant ceramics have stable chemical properties, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, and are suitable for various harsh working conditions;
4. Light weight: The density of alumina ceramic is 3.6-3.8g/cm3, which is only half of that of steel, which can greatly reduce the load on equipment;
5. The bonding is firm and not easy to fall off: the wear-resistant ceramic sheet can be fixed by high-temperature-resistant inorganic adhesive paste, arch joint and stud welding, etc., which can ensure that the ceramic sheet will not fall off under high temperature and high impact conditions for long-term operation .
