The diameter of the drum is different, and the applicable thickness of the lagging is also different. In general, the larger the diameter of the roller, the thicker the rubber sheet required.
The criteria for selecting the thickness of the roller lagging rubber sheet are as follows:
Roller diameter≤630mm Rubber sheet thickness: 10mm
Roller diameter 630mm-800mm Rubber sheet thickness: 12mm
Roller diameter 800mm-1000mm Rubber sheet thickness: 15mm
Roller diameter ≥1000mm Rubber sheet thickness: 20mm
The rubber sheet itself has good resilience, so thicker rubber sheets should not be used blindly, otherwise the strong resilience will cause the glue to open and increase the load on the drum.
The thickness specifications of the commonly used plane wear-resistant rubber sheets and diamond-shaped wear-resistant rubber sheets are mainly 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, and 15mm. The thickness specifications of ceramic wear-resistant rubber plates are 15mm and 20mm.
