Description

When using a new ball mill to add wear-resistant ceramic grinding balls, how to reduce the wear rate of grinding balls?
Before the ball mill is running, it is strictly forbidden to idle without feeding.
1.If the ball mill runs without feeding before starting, a strong impact force is easily formed between the ball and the plate, which will cause micro-cracks on the ball and pits and pits on the surface of the ball, which will seriously break some of the balls.
2. A certain amount of material should be added first and then the balls should be added when the empty warehouse is loaded for grinding.
When the ball mill is loaded, avoid free-fall addition. Generally, the drop of the ball mill is more than 1.5 meters. If the ball is directly loaded without adding material, the wear-resistant grinding ball will be discharged into the bin, which will form a huge impact force, causing the inside of the ball to be impacted. Different degrees of cracks are formed, affecting its service life. Therefore, in order to prevent the grinding ball from falling and being damaged, some materials should be added first.
Application
It has excellent characteristics such as high strength, high hardness, high wear resistance, large specific gravity, high temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, and no pollution. They are widely used in different types of ceramics, enamels, glass, and chemical raw materials. For finishing and deep processing, its grinding efficiency and wear resistance far exceed ordinary ball stones and natural pebbles. It is an excellent grinding medium for fine grinding equipment such as ball mills, pot mills, and vibration mills.
