When should the sand mill replace the grinding ball?
1.The replacement of beads is mainly due to the wear and tear of the beads, which reduces the volume and quality of the beads, which has a great impact on the quality of the product. The grinding of the beads will affect the grinding efficiency and the output of the material.
2. The selection of the bead size is determined by the gap between the stator and the rotor separation ring. When the diameter of the bead and the gap are close to a certain level, it should be replaced. For example, in a disc sand mill, the selected beads are 1.4mm, and the separation ring gap is 0.4mm. When the smallest bead is less than 0.8mm, it is necessary to replace all the beads bead.
3. When fragments with beads are found at the discharge port, they should also be replaced.
4. When the diameter of the beads is still within the allowable range, new beads can be used or directly added. The filling rate of zirconium beads in the horizontal sand mill is 60-75%, the filling rate of the zirconium beads in the basket mill is 50%, and the filling rate of the zirconium beads in the horizontal ball mill is 30%.
