Alumina Ceramic Grinding Beads refers to the use of bauxite, roller powder, alumina and high-temperature calcined alpha alumina powder as raw materials, and it needs to be made by mixing, pulverizing, grinding, molding, drying, and sintering.Ceramic beads included dry grinding balls and wet grinding balls ,the most commonly used is 92% alumina ceramic ball.

What is wet grinding?

High alumina ball mill wet grinding means that when the material enters the mill, it will complete a certain amount of grinding under the interaction of the abrasive medium and the abrasive itself, and meet the grinding needs of customers. At the same time, there will be liquid in the process. If water is involved, the movement of materials needs to be driven by water flow. When dealing with ore with high moisture and mud content, the grinding efficiency of wet ball mill is high. The agglomerates 

are ball-milled into fine particles, and the barren materials and plastic materials are stirred and mixed evenly. When grinding, choose wet grinding.

What is dry grinding?

The dry grinding of high alumina ball mill does not need to add water during the process, and the material must be dry. When the material passes through a series of grinding and meets the requirements, it will be brought out by the airflow drawn out of the cylinder. For some materials that will react with water and affect the quality of the finished product, dry grinding must be used. Dry grinding is more suitable when the particle size of the powder is not required to be very fine and the product after ball milling needs to be stored or sold in powder form. Appropriate grinding methods help to grind the processed materials better, and can control the input cost within a reasonable range.
