Product Introduction

The size of the catalyst should be selected according to the size of the catalyst, generally following the 2x rule (or grading), that is, the diameter of the ceramic ball should be twice the diameter of the adjacent catalyst, so that the material distribution is uniform, the pressure drop is small, and the reactor is more optimized.
In a fixed bed reactor, inert ceramic balls or fillers are usually added to the catalyst.
Application method
Generally, two layers shall be laid, one layer close to catalyst shall be laid with 1-3mm ceramic ball, the other layer close to catalyst shall be laid with 4-6mm ceramic ball, and wire mesh shall be laid outside. The screen is mainly used for gas distribution, filtration of small particles of catalyst entrained by gas or filtration of impurities entering the bed. It also prevents the bed from falling and supports the bed. Generally, each specification of ceramic ball is paved with a thickness of 100mm.Didn't notice the standard. In other words, very fine catalyst particles can not be filtered by this method, and other methods are needed to filter these possibly brought out catalysts.
