The density of 92 alumina balls is approximately 3.6, their Mo hardness is 9, and their water absorption rate is approximately 0.01 percent, with a wear rate of 0.01 percent.

Features and Application

1. Since alumina is a highly white material and quartz has a high need for whiteness, using alumina ceramic grinding balls to grind quartz can reduce the pollution caused by the process in many ways. Quartz has a high degree of hardness.

2. Glass has a very high degree of hardness, making it difficult to process with regular grinding media. Additionally, too many impurities will significantly lower the quality of the raw material, making it impossible to make high-quality finished glass.

3. As a growing industry, high alumina grinding balls can be used in lithium batteries. Since iron is a very sensitive material in lithium batteries, metal grinding is not an option. However, nonmetallic grinding medium, such as high-alumina grinding balls, have a very high level of efficiency and have therefore become a very good substitute for grinding material.
