Do You Know About Inert Ceramic Balls?

Do you know about inert ceramic balls?

Inert ceramic balls can be divided into ordinary ceramic balls, medium alumina ceramic balls, high alumina ceramic balls, etc. according to different aluminum contents.

Inert ceramic balls have the characteristics of high strength, high chemical stability and thermal stability. Inert ceramic balls can withstand high temperature, high pressure and corrosion by acids, alkalis, salts and various organic solvents. Inert ceramic balls are widely used in petroleum, chemical, fertilizer, natural gas and environmental protection industries. As a support and covering material for the catalyst in the reactor, inert ceramic balls can buffer the impact of liquid and gas entering the reactor on the catalyst, protect the catalyst, and improve the distribution of liquid and gas in the reactor.

Commonly used specifications of inert ceramic balls are: 3mm, 6mm, 10mm, 13mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, etc.

Inert ceramic balls are widely used in chemical wastewater treatment, petroleum, electric power, environmental protection, natural gas, coal and other industries. They are especially suitable for high and low temperature conversion furnaces, reforming furnaces, hydrogenation converters, desulfurization tanks and methane in fertilizer and methanol plants. In the furnace, it plays the role of dispersing vapor and liquid, and supporting, covering and protecting the catalyst. It can also be used in hot blast furnaces and heating conversion equipment in the steel industry.
