About a month ago, we received an order from a Brazilian customer to produce a batch of aluminium oxide ceramic cylinders. After a month of production, the finished products finally started to come out one after another.
Ceramic cylinders are cylinders made of high purity alumina powder through high temperature sintering, which are widely used in metallurgy, chemical industry, ceramics and other industries. Alumina cylinders are favoured for their excellent properties such as high hardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
Alumina cylinders can be used as grinding media to grind materials in ball mills. As a grinding medium, the wear-resistant ceramic cylinders have a large contact area, which ensures the purity of the crushed materials, improves the grinding efficiency and can reduce the grinding time.
In addition to grinding media, alumina cylinder can also be used as the ceramic part of ceramic rubber composite plate, through the vulcanisation into the rubber, forming a two-in-one alumina ceramic rubber composite plate, or three-in-one steel plate rubber ceramic composite plate.
Because of the excellent properties of alumina cylinders such as high hardness and abrasion resistance, they are able to withstand harsh conditions and are favoured by a variety of high wear industries.
