Looking for a cost-effective yet high-performance grinding media? Our 3.8g/cm³ ZTA composite balls are designed for the non-metallic mineral industries such as quartz, kaolin, calcium carbonate, and feldspar.

 

These balls combine the toughness of zirconia and the chemical stability of alumina, offering excellent resistance to wear and corrosion in mildly abrasive environments. With a slightly lower density than our high-end ZTA 4.1 series, the 3.8 version provides better energy savings, reduced wear on mill linings, and lower overall grinding cost - perfect for ultrafine powder processing.

 

In several customer trials, our 3.8 ZTA balls have outperformed traditional alumina grinding media in durability and particle size control, especially in wet milling processes.
