The protection of powder conveying equipment - alumina wear-resistant ceramics
In the mining, steel, cement and other industries, an inevitable link is transportation. Taking pipeline wear as an example, the main causes of wear are the following two points:
①Scraping: Scraping is the impact of particles on the material at a relative angle. After the impact, the kinetic energy is used to scrape the material.
② Pressing: The particles impact the material with a nearly vertical angle, which occurs most often in elbows and reducers. The wear of pressing is mainly determined by the characteristics of the particle itself and the pipe material.
To maintain "equipment health", you have to prescribe the right medicine. In order to deal with the problem of equipment wear and tear, compared with traditional metal materials, more excellent wear-resistant ceramics have come to the fore. Wear-resistant ceramics are like the "armor" of the transportation equipment, protecting the equipment from damage.
Wear-resistant ceramics must withstand various tests in harsh working environments, and the requirements have the following characteristics.
①High hardness and high strength;
② Good wear resistance and long service life: reduce the frequency of equipment repairs and save a lot of manpower, material and financial resources;
③ Shock resistance: can resist the impact of bulk materials;
④ High temperature resistance: up to 1500 degrees;
⑤ Anti-dropping: Use epoxy resin glue or cement to paste directly on the inner wall of the equipment, or use professional stud welding welding process, and weld it to the bottom steel plate through ceramics, and cooperate with strong adhesive to prevent falling;
⑥Light weight, easy to install: reduce the weight of the equipment and improve the production efficiency;
⑦ Widely used: It can be used in anti-wear treatment solutions in various industrial fields.
Nowadays, the development of wear-resistant ceramics at home and abroad is rapid, and the materials used are mostly alumina, zirconia, silicon carbide, silicon nitride and other raw materials. In terms of function and cost performance, commonly used wear-resistant ceramics include 92% alumina ceramics, 95% alumina ceramics and ZTA ceramics.
