Selection And Application Of Wear-resistant Ceramic Adhesive

Wear-resisting ceramic glue, also called wear-resisting ceramic adhesive, it is a high-performance adhesive specially used to stick wear-resisting ceramic plate or lining plate to the surface of the equipment base material for wear-resisting protection.  


Main application:

It is difficult to connect the ceramics and metal parts of the equipment through  traditional connection method such as welding. But it is a good choice to connect it by using Titan coating wear-resistant ceramic adhesive bonding. After the development, this technology has been promoted to power, metallurgy, mining, cement and other industries and has been widely used and recognized. The use of wear-resistant ceramic adhesive can be highly pure wear-resistant ceramic plate is very firmly bonded to the surface of the equipment subjected to serious erosion of materials to extend the service life of these equipment, reduce the maintenance of such equipment, so as to reach the purpose of reduce the replacement of new equipment, reduce the cost of equipment operation and maintenance, reduce production loss caused by halt.


method of application:

22preparation: polish the to be bonded surface of the steel plate with sand mill; expose the original color of the steel plate, and rough it’s surface. Then, wipe off the dust from the surface with a dry cloth. If strength is required, a cloth dipped in acetone or alcohol can be used to clean the surface of steel.

22adjust the adhesive according to the weight ratio of 4:1, adjust evenly, about 200 grams each time is appropriate.

22scrape the adjusted adhesive on the steel plate with a scraper.

22clean the side of the ceramic plate that needs to be bonded, (wipe off the aluminum oxide powder on the surface with a wet cloth, and dry it before use.) Lay the ceramic plate on the scraped steel plate in one piece. Use the rubber hammer or wooden hammer prepared in advance to knock the ceramic plate and the adhesive surface, the force can not be too fierce, the thickness of adhesive about 1 mm is appropriate.

22keep the bonding state, do not move the steel plate and other parts before the adhesive is not completely dry. After curing for 2-3 hours, the adhesive is basically cured and reaches a certain strength, and parts can be moved.

Notice:

Each time adjusting the adhesive should not be too much, and adjusted adhesive should be used up as soon as possible. The gel time is also related to temperature, the higher the temperature, the faster the gel. After the adhesive is mixed according to the standard ratio, it have an application period of about one hour at 25℃ (the application period refers to the period during which the adhesive does not thicken and is suitable for paste operation). Stratification of a component is normal during storage, stir and premix it before use.
