Recently, our ceramic beads have received a return order from a Russian customer. Ceramic beads are small ceramic balls made of aluminium oxide in the size range of 1-10 mm. They are available in purity grades of 92%, 95% and 99%. Our Russian customer wanted 1.0-1.2 particle size with 95% content this time.
Ceramic beads are not simply reduced ceramic balls, they have even better performance parameters. The raw material is processed more carefully, so there is less abrasion.

Alumina ceramic grinding beads are so popular, so what is the role of alumina ceramic grinding beads in the grinding process?
Alumina ceramic grinding beads act as a grinding medium by impacting and effectively eroding the surface of the particles being ground. Grinding media are an important part of the grinding process because they are responsible for grinding the particle size into a fine powder. When the beads come into contact with the particles, small cracks and fragments form on the surface of the particles, resulting in smaller particles. This process is called 'reduction grinding' because it impacts the size of the particles and grinds them into a fine powder.
Ceramic beads have excellent properties such as high strength, high hardness, high abrasion resistance, high specific gravity, high temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, and no pollution.
Among the various grinding media available in the market, alumina ceramic grinding beads have become the most popular choice for various applications, especially in the pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries.
We value our Russian customer's decision to place another order as it reinforces our commitment to providing high quality products that meet our customers' needs.
