High-alumina heat storage ball
A ceramic product made of α-alumina as the basic raw material, rolled or pressed, and sintered at high temperature.
High-aluminum heat storage balls are also called spherical heat storage bodies. The spherical heat storage bodies have the advantages of good thermal shock stability, large heat storage, high strength, easy cleaning, and reusability.
Application of high aluminum heat storage ball:
Widely used in steel, metallurgical industry heating furnace, aluminum melting furnace, forging furnace and other industrial furnaces. It is especially suitable for regenerators of air separation equipment and blast furnace gas heating furnaces in iron and steel plants as regenerative fillers. Through double preheating of gas and air, the combustion temperature can quickly meet the requirements of rolling steel for billet heating.
The working principle and characteristics of high aluminum heat storage ball:
1. High-aluminum heat storage balls are many small balls that divide the airflow into small streams. When the airflow flows through the heat conductor, a strong turbulent flow is formed, which effectively breaks through the boundary layer on the surface of the heat conductor. Small, small conduction radius, small thermal resistance, high density, good thermal conductivity, so it can meet the requirements of frequent and rapid reversal of thermally conductive burners.
2. The heat conductor can be commutated 20~30 times/h, and the flue gas can be lowered to about 130°C and discharged after the high temperature airflow passes through the heat conductor bed.
3. The high-temperature natural gas and air can be preheated to only about 100°C lower than the flue gas temperature by passing through the heat conductor in the same path, and the temperature efficiency is as high as 90% or more.
4. Due to the very small size of the heat conductor and the strong flow capacity of the high-aluminum heat storage ball bed, even if the resistance increases after ash accumulation, the heat exchange index will not be affected.
5. The high-alumina heat storage ball has the characteristics of oxidation resistance and slag resistance.
6. The replacement and cleaning of the high-aluminum heat storage ball is very convenient, and it can be reused
