Alumina Ceramic Liner Installation Instructions

Alumina Ceramic Liner Installation Instructions

I. Overview

The alumina ceramic liner should protect the hopper and all areas subject to impact and friction. The specific form and thickness of the wear-resistant liner should be indicated by the customer in the drawings.

The alumina ceramic liner is made by dry method, the alumina content is not less than 92%, and the Mohs hardness is 9

2. Surface treatment of steel parts

The steel surface should be flat and free from welding spatter. Welds should be ground. Indentations or protrusions at the corners should be smoothed. If necessary, all surfaces to be installed with alumina ceramic linings can be sandblasted.

3. Installation of alumina ceramic liner

1. The surface of the ceramic liner should be kept clean and dry
2. All metal surfaces that need to be installed with alumina ceramic liners should be supported evenly to prevent deformation during construction
3. The alumina ceramic lining plate needs to be cut into irregular shapes according to the sticking surface during the construction process. The tool used is a diamond blade (no tooth saw), the cutting machine is equipped with a water cooling circulation system (water must be sprayed for cooling when cutting), and the fracture should be flat and free of debris. When cutting, the knife should be cut from the middle of the ceramic, and the knife should not be cut from the corner. It is easy to damage the ceramic when the knife is cut from the corner. Since the ceramic is very hard, it is necessary to slowly apply force when cutting the knife;
4. Use sandblasting or angle grinder to polish and remove rust on the construction surface of steel plate
5. Mixing glue, in principle, a small amount of time, pay attention to the drying time of the glue, and reduce the exposure time of the mixed glue in the air
Paste, the thickness of the glue coating is about 1-2mm
5. The orientation of the alumina ceramic lining board is based on the principle of not hindering the flow of materials, and the gap between the alumina ceramic lining boards is not greater than 2mm. After sticking, use a rubber hammer to smash it firmly, and put the excess glue on it. remove.
6. Put the iron cap into the small hole of the porcelain plate, weld it with electric welding (preferably two-protection welding), then apply glue, and finally use the porcelain cap to protect the solder joints (cover the porcelain cap)
7. After the alumina ceramic liner is installed, it is not allowed to move until the glue is fully hardened (full hardening time is 24 hours)

8. If necessary, sand the surface of the alumina ceramic liner after sticking and curing to ensure that the surface is clean, smooth and free of other impurities.
